THE RESSURECTION of BOS'93

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.,

I came across to send this message to all since many of us wasn’t able to be part of the Gala Dinner last weekend. We saw photos of the dinner, lots of photos through our senior’s and junior’s walls and albums of which too bad we were ain’t part of it. Kinda cool wasn’t it? Though some empty seats were not part of the camera angles to be capture through the lenses, the event still went through as scheduled. Albeit with many controversies, contradicting thoughts, backfires, boycotts or whatever we like to name it the middle; indeed it still brought back the memories of the old days whenever I saw Uztaz Adzmi, Pn. Haslina, Dato’ Sabudin and many other familiar faces that we used to know and owed them a respect for what they’ve brought us up to where we are today.

Putting all the sentiments aside, its time for us to rejuvenate ourselves, putting it all back together after many years of absents…to resurrect BOS ’93 (Bainun Ol’ Students) after it went dead since 2003. I know it was my self the major part to be blamed for the disaster and I hereby humbly apologize to you guys. Though it’s well understood - it would rather be easy to forgive then to forget, lets us behold together to do what we supposed to do in many years behind. It’s about time for us to rethink, recreate, restore, remake, reform and rejoice for the sake of an everlasting friendship.

Thinking of which, I’m suggesting a get-together TT (Tea Tarik, Table-talk or whichever we may call it) session before Ramadan starts off. Let it be the first phase or somewhat a kick-start session to revitalize our synergy. Nothing should be formal; it would be just great to have chatting session in Mamak or in any non-fancy places like what we used to do 8-9 years ago. That should do and go for a start, then after we could think off something ‘fancier’ such as Buka Puasa or something equivalent in merrier reunion event.

Am I jealous to what have been happening around us? Gala Dinner, Batch reunions, Mamak get-together, Karaoke sessions…whatever events are happening to other batches in Facebook, Twitter or Blogs...am I? Yes, I am in a definite jealousy state. My Jealouso-Meter is revving between the red lines whenever I saw those updates and I can’t stand this by doing nothing. Neither do I could stand alone doing something meaningful.

So, enough said. O’ people of BOS ’93 wherever you are…This is Shahrul Farhan calling everyone to rise from your hideout. But hey…I’m no Autobot Optimus Prime! Come out n chill! I need you..No..WE NEED YOU! Let’s have open suggestions for our first came-out from hide-out event. What say you?
